We are looking to recruit a Fellowship and Awards Adviser maternity cover to work within the Membership and Accreditation Directorate. This exciting position will require the successful applicant to support the Teaching Excellence Awards schemes including the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS), the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and the Global Teaching Excellence Award (GTEA). We are looking for an enthusiastic person with experience in teaching and/or supporting learning in higher education. The role will support the operation and development of the high profile teaching excellence awards portfolio. This will include supporting institutions to engage with the awards and supporting the peer review process. There will be some travel within the UK as a part of the role to support the work of the Association of National Teaching Fellows and CATE network and events. This opportunity is a fixed term contract for one year, full time position reporting to the Head of Academic Apprenticeships and Excellence Awards and based in our York offices. Reporting to the Senior Communications Executive, the Communications Executive will be responsible for creating interesting and compelling written material/content to drive awareness of Advance HE’s offer. The role will include the creation of blogs and press releases, implementing social media campaigns and monitoring media coverage whilst working within the Advance HE tone of voice and brand guidelines.
