Advance HE is seeking a number of outstanding Board Directors to guide the organisation in the delivery of a new ambitious strategy to strengthen our position as the leading development agency for higher education. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about our work and have the creativity and drive to be able critically challenge, ensuring we respond and adapt to our members’ needs.
Professional skills and expertise in the following areas would be a distinct advantage:
- Financial, strategic finance or commercial experience
- Student or student union experience
- Recent experience of operating in an international context

The Senior Adviser (Equality Charters) is a new role within the Advance HE Athena Swan Charter team. We are seeking to appoint two full-time equivalent (FTE) Senior Advisers to provide strategic and operational advice to a portfolio of universities, departments, research institutes in support of their gender equality work and Athena Swan Charter applications.

The Charters Assessment Manager is a new role within the Advance HE Athena Swan Charter team. We are seeking to appoint three full-time equivalent (FTE) Charters Assessment Managers to manage the Charter assessment process ensuring a high quality and reliable peer-review service is operated.

To support the operation of the transformed Athena Swan Charter we are seeking to expand our administrative team through the recruitment of a full time Charters Co-ordination Executive.
This is a key role in managing a team of Coordinators to ensure excellent customer service and support the effective and timely operation of the Athena Swan and Race Equality Charters.
