Through wide dissemination, they have actively supported colleagues at Keele and elsewhere in adopting TBL in their own practice.

Robert Gordon University’s Welcome Leadership Group formed in 2020, bringing together students, professional and academic staff. The team devised and coordinated a new virtual Student Welcome. The success of Welcome is evident in a range of measures, including high overall satisfaction in surveys and students’ confidence and preparedness for study.

The team are driven by the shared goal, “To facilitate final years developing the core skills which will enable them to survive and thrive in practice.”

The Innovative Placements and Capacity Expansion team was created to focus on increasing high quality clinical placements for healthcare students. The team worked closely and collaboratively with external stakeholders, responded to national and local needs to develop different approaches and models for placement provision across health and social care settings.
