Paul Ian Campbell is a Lecturer in the Sociology of Race and Inclusion and an award-winning academic. Since 2020, Paul has been directly involved in leading the University of Leicester’s strategic response to eliminating the awarding gap between White and minority-ethnic students at the college, university, national and international level.

Hannah is Professor of Archaeology and Pedagogy and Lead for Academic Development at the University of Manchester. Her pedagogic ethos is centred around raising the voices of others and fighting for equity of experience and through her teaching, leadership and archaeological practice she passionately advocates for inclusivity, equality and diversity.

James approaches graphic design education and teaching as the act of making things possible, and not taking things for granted. He combines creativity with compassion to design learning as an unfolding excursion from the familiar to the unfamiliar. He is the co-founder of the Subject Association Graphic Design Educators’ Network.

Kate Coulson is Head of Learning and Teaching Enhancement at the University of Northampton. Her work is focused on equality within education and she strives to enhance the educational experiences of all students. She is a strong advocate for sharing excellent practice.
Nicki Credland

Nicki Credland is a Reader in Critical Care. She is Chair of the British Association of Critical Care Nurses and specialist advisor to NHS England and Health Education England. Nicki has a recognised national and international profile within the critical care community.
Dr Adam Danquah
Job Title:Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology
Institution: The University of Manchester
Year: 2022
Adam’s work focuses on helping university staff and healthcare practitioners to deal with the emotional and relational challenges of the work, to improve student outcomes. This approach is exemplified in his Higher Education Anti-Racism Training (HEART), which asks university teachers to commit to a transformative programme of group-work and action.

Russell Hearn is an inspirational and innovative clinical educator who places medical student learning at the heart of healthcare to achieve synergistic enhancement of learning alongside improved patient outcomes. During Covid-19, he created unique learning opportunities for healthcare students to be a part of the national response to the pandemic.

Richard is Head of Department and Professor of Intelligent Systems at the University of Huddersfield and has been teaching programming and distributed computing for 20 years. Richard uses formative experiences as a teaching academic to inform his leadership of academic staff, so that they collectively build an inclusive learning environment.

Dr Andrew Hitchings is a Reader in Clinical Pharmacology at St George’s, University of London, and a Consultant in Intensive Care at St George’s Hospital. In his educational practice, he draws on his clinical experience to equip students to deal with the complexities, uncertainties and practical demands of real-world healthcare.

Dr Sue Jones is passionate about transforming non-traditional student outcomes and supporting academic colleagues’ professional development, reward and recognition in learning and teaching. Her strategic leadership has been recognised by Advance HE Principal Fellowship (PFHEA), winning the HE Bioscience Teacher of the Year award (2020), and an Advance HE CATE award (2021).
