How will my application be assessed?

Athena Swan applications are assessed by peer-review panels made up of experts who are leading gender equality work in their own institutions. Panels assess applications on the basis of the published criteria. You can read more about our peer-review processes here.

Who will be assessing my application?

In April 2021 we recruited a new team of expert Chairs and Reviewers.

How long before I get my results and feedback?

We aim to give results and feedback within twelve weeks from the submission of your application.

What support will members be offered to understand and use the transformed application materials?

How will you be supporting us to be successful in our applications?

Advance HE will be providing a suite of pre-application support to our applicants through webinars, member events, new guidance, online networking opportunities, case studies, exemplar applications, and a team to support individual’s queries.
