In this session we will explore why the focus of the regulatory framework requires us to deepen our understanding and practice of the fundamentals of governing well. What can we do to both deliver the compliance required and keep a longer-term perspective? What does this mean for boardroom practice?
Drawing on her experience from HEFCE, OfS and Advance HE together with insights from our latest governance effectiveness reviews, Victoria will facilitate participants’ ability to navigate these complexities and develop a strategy for governing well with – and beyond – the regulatory framework. The workshop will also draw on the very latest CUC and OfS developments this autumn, ensuring practice is up to date.
