Equality and diversity are central to the objectives of Advance HE since its creation in 2018 and the former Leadership Foundation since it was established in 2004. Equality legislation
The Equality Act 2010 replaced previous anti-discrimination law to simplify the law and remove inconsistencies. The act strengthened protection against discrimination in some areas.
