Advance HE Teaching & Learning Conference 2018: Can learners’ interactions with code puzzle pieces accurately match their perceptions of the related programming concepts?

This session aims to present and discuss a short paper based on the presenter's research (exploring whether the use of code puzzles could effectively be mapped to a novice programmer's understanding in order to help identify which concepts they are struggling with) as well as provide a demonstration of the current software prototype that has stemmed from the findings of the study. Gaining audience feedback would be invaluable on both the research idea and the software prototype itself.
