Advance HE Teaching & Learning Conference 2018: Uniting nations through blended learning

This session will share findings from a recent study of how a class of more than 250 postgraduate Marketing students from a broad range of cultural backgrounds responded positively to the introduction of blended learning techniques including flipped sessions lecture capture and mobile application-enabled in-class participation. Through a pragmatic review of the benefits and pitfalls of taking such an approach the session aims to demonstrate how easy it can be to embrace technology even in large international classes. Participants will easily be able to take part with their mobile phones without any preparation needed. Seeing the technique in action should clearly show how simple it can be to embrace technology in the classroom. Don’t forget to bring your mobile phone!
