Departmental Leadership of Teaching in Research-Intensive Environments - Final Report

Case studies examining the role departmental leadership played in creating and supporting excellent teaching are presented, from eleven world class, research-intensive universities. The authors find nine clusters of leadership activity are associated including Establishing trust and credibility; Devolving leadership; Supporting change and innovation and Involving students.
