In Spring of 2014 the embedding equality and diversity in the curriculum project ran a short series of webinars three of which have been recorded for post-streaming use. These 20-30 minute recordings explore a variety of topics connected to equality diversity and learning and teaching in higher education.

This webinar provides a brief introduction to Jisc Services and offers an overview of the extensive range of resources that can assist in exploiting both technologies and effective practice in order to embed inclusion into everyday practice. It highlights toolkits and other web-based guidance tools to assist staff in using technology to make anticipatory arrangements and to create reasonable adjustments.

Representative Engagement – Considering Diversity in Student Engagement

The Student Engagement Framework for Scotland identifies “responding to diversity” as one of the features of effective student engagement; however equality and diversity and student engagement are often addressed as separate issues. This webinar considers the implications for student engagement of “responding to diversity” highlighting in particular engagement in learning and teaching.
