Enhancing learning and teaching in higher education in Northern Ireland

In 2010/11 the HEA offered grants of up to £2 500 to higher education institutions in Northern Ireland for learning and teaching enhancement projects that addressed a range of thematic areas for example student engagement and widening access. In the same year the HEA also offered grants of £500 for institutions to host and deliver seminars exploring policy and practice across a spectrum of areas including learning for employment and assessment and feedback. This report showcases projects and seminars from Queens University Belfast St Marys University College Belfast and the University of Ulster.
