Providing a synopsis of research-based literature on the experiences of black and minority ethnic staff in higher education. 

A literature review identifying baseline data and providing a synopsis of research-based literature on the experiences of black and minority ethnic (BME) staff in higher education.

This literature review was commissioned by ECU to provide an evidence base on the position and experiences of BME staff working in higher education.

By providing an understanding of previous research and gaps in the evidence currently available, the review helped shape the future direction of ECU’s  initiatives to address issues affecting BME staff in the sector.
