This sequence of activities was developed at Keele University as part of a collaboration between members of the Learning and Professional Development Centre and other academic colleagues drawn from a range of disciplines.
It is designed to prompt reflection by programme leaders and others about flexibility in course design and provision and about how digital technologies are being or can be used to increase student choice in how what when and where they study.
The materials also provide support for curriculum developers to think carefully about the intended and unintended outcomes of changing the mode of delivery of teaching and the impacts of those outcomes on learner experiences and teacher intentions.
