Filling the talent pool with well-prepared future scientific leaders: Final Report

The Pathway to Independence programme was designed to assist promising scientific researchers from some of the UK’s leading research institutes in making the transition to independent researchers. The programme was a two day workshop designed to develop the awareness of potential team leaders on the main aspects of setting up as an independent researcher, including areas such as recruiting, collaborating, generating funding and managing people.
