Background: Peru is currently going through a period of significant change specifically in the Higher Education sector. The government has significantly increased investment in the Higher Education sector and are keen to create a stronger relationship between the UK and Peru through Higher Education institutional links, common frameworks and approaches.
Programme: A 2-day leadership programme for 60 educational leaders and policy makers focused on the organisational and behavioural aspects of leadership and strategic processes.
The programme, which took place in September 2016, was designed to be interactive, reflective and included input via SKYPE from UK experts.
Impact: The programme was delivered to 2 groups of 30 delegates with little or no previous international professional development growth and was designed to complement an ongoing larger project that is currently being delivered by the British Council.
