History Teaching in Higher Education: Breaking Down the Barriers to Progression and Dialogue

A paper from the 2005 Teaching History in higher education conference.

This paper represents the views of two overlapping constituencies - the history section of the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for History Classics and Archaeology and the nine historians who are National Teaching Fellows (four of whom are members of the Subject Centre History Advisory Panel).
