This project is part of the 2020 Good Practice Grants, which helped Advance HE members to develop and share innovative practice.
Conducted by De Montfort University, this project aimed to co-create a redesigned level 6 module in Special Educational Needs and Disability, as part of the BA Education Studies at De Montfort University.
The research was a two-stage process consisting of questionnaires then focus groups and applied to three strands of students, parents and current educational practitioners. It was also supplemented by interviews with selected individuals who did not necessarily fit into these groups such as academics in the field, and workers in support and advocacy organisations.
