Induction

All higher education institutions (HEIs) work hard to provide effective induction programmes for their students. For international students the challenges are usually compounded by unfamiliar culture environment and difficulties with language.

The better the induction services and programmes the more likely that students will have the knowledge skills attitudes and support to undertake their studies successfully and will choose to remain on their courses until graduation.  This section provides a number of suggestions.
