Internationalisation in Indian Higher Education: A Case Study

This case study explores Advance HE’s internationalisation programme in India, delivered with the British Council and state governments in Maharashtra and Karnataka. It highlights how universities strengthened their capacity by developing internationalisation strategies, setting up international offices, and building global partnerships. The study also captures the programme’s outcomes, including enhanced institutional development, new UK–India collaborations, and its planned expansion to additional Indian states.
