The aim of this project was to share information across HEIs to identify the impact of community drama projects highlight issues which make placement opportunities difficult and identify what makes live projects in community settings innovative within the sector. A second aim was to consider how placement work which involves interventions with community groups can be managed and sustained within available resources. Sharing practice and innovative ideas in the area of community placements seemed to be a good way of trying to sustain such work hence the decision to share problems with colleagues from other institutions.
The objective is to report on impact innovation and issues in order that the information can be of use to colleagues in a small number of HEIs who are directly involved in the project and then more widely through written communication.
