Leadership and Innovation Lessons from Professional Services Firms

This stimulus paper examines what insights the management of professional services firms might offer leaders managers and governors of higher education institutions. They find that strategic differentiation, focus and client alignment have become dramatically more important for professional services, along with attracting and developing talent and introducing flexible workplaces. They suggest these might offer important lessons for HEIs for the future.
