Colleges and higher education institutions have a legal duty to foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not. These training resources are designed to help you to train colleagues to identify those issues that might cause tensions between different groups, to deal effectively with incidents that arise, and to create an environment where good relations thrive. While primarily designed for use with staff, these resources are also relevant to students and can be easily adapted for that purpose.
