Mid-career academic women: Strategies, choices and motivation: Final Report & Activity

This project contributes to literature exploring the under-representation of women at senior levels in higher education. This research differs from previous research in that we focused not on senior women who have made it to the top, but rather those who feel they are at a mid-career stage. It develops earlier research on the role that prestige plays in academic careers, and aims to explore the extent to which prestige is a gendered concept in academia.
