NET 2018 Conference: Facilitating successful academic writing for healthcare students

Healthcare students have access support in academic writing ranging from individual tutorials to small and large group sessions which may be embedded in the curriculum. They may access the right support from course tutors or a specialist writing tutor in a timely manner. Alternatively their expectations of the support available may be unrealistic and accessed too late for the student to fully process and act on feedback. The balance between what students value in support and the resources available needs to be found.
