Postgraduate Research Experience Survey 2024

The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey is conducted annually by Advance HE and provides higher education institutions with the opportunity to fully understand the experience of postgraduate researchers, both at their institution and in comparison with other similar providers. In 2024, more than 12,000 students responded from over 60 institutions in the UK and Australia. 

The report shows that overall student satisfaction levels have increased from last year to over 80%, however nearly three-quarters of respondents said that the cost of living crisis had affected their studies. To read more of the key findings, see our press release here.
