The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) collects feedback from taught postgraduate students across the higher education sector about their experiences of their programmes. Although taught Masters students constitute about 80% of respondents. The survey is also answered by students taking postgraduate certificates and diplomas.

PTES ran for its sixth consecutive year in the UK in Spring 2015 with 72 200 students from 100 institutions taking part and a national response rate of 29.4%. This continues the increase from previous years (67 580 students from 100 institutions had taken part in 2014 with a response rate of 28.3%).
