Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) final report 2009

This document outlines the results of the 2009 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) where 14 421 replies were received from 30 participating institutions.

Launched in 2009 our annual survey is the only national survey to gather insight from taught postgraduate students about their learning and supervision experience.

Data from PTES can be used to benchmark your institution’s postgraduate provision against others in your sector at both a department and institution level. Nationally the results are also used to inform sector bodies and policy makers about the broad experience students can expect across the UK.
