Questions in science is the new introductory level 60 credit online module for the natural sciences qualifications at The Open University. The module has been designed to maximise student access retention and attainment and to facilitate progression to the next module. The module incorporates a number of innovative methods to try and achieve this aim. Our presentation will explain the design features and use analytic data to discuss the impact of the design on student success. It was first presented to over 1300 students in October 2016 with a second presentation starting in February 2017.
