This project analysed the leadership role of the UK professoriate. It drew on the following sources of primary and secondary data:
- Interviews with 20 professors (across a range of institutional types and discipline areas)
- An online questionnaire which yielded 234 responses
- Role descriptions of professorial positions
- A mini literature review
