A recipe for TEF success: Perceptions of leaders of high performing academic departments

In this qualitative case study we asked heads and associate heads (education) of high-performing higher education academic departments about the factors that contribute to, and strategies employed to, deliver consistent excellence in their educational provision. Our study seeks to stimulate reflection and discussion among peers within academic departments and faculties as to how best to deliver education in the context of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
