Recognising teaching excellence (ReTE) change programme 2012-13

Higher education providers are seeking to ensure and demonstrate excellence in teaching and provide a high quality distinctive student learning experience. Despite an increased awareness across the sector of the need for teaching excellence to be recognised current research shows that there is still a differential between the recognition and reward of teaching and that of research. The ReTE change programme supported institutions to enhance and refine systems strategies and infrastructure for the recognition of teaching excellence.
