Qualitative analysis of the applications identified 181 initiatives that demonstrated positive outcomes for gender equality in higher education institutions (HEIs), grouped into 19 thematic areas.
This Research Insight presents a variety of Athena SWAN good practice from a range of disciplines and HEIs to showcase the breadth of work taking place to advance gender equality in UK higher education.
Initiatives identified by this research will be added to Advance HE’s digital resource bank, making it possible for HEIs to discover initiatives that they could adapt and implement within the context of their own department or institution.
