Sponsorship Mentoring: development of resources for higher education institutions

This project is part of the 2020 Good Practice Grants, which helped Advance HE members to develop and share innovative practice.

The aim of this project, developed by Loughborough University, was to share the evidence of why sponsorship-mentoring is valuable for career development, particularly for women in academia; disseminate good practice resources so that career development is a level playing field for everyone, regardless of their gender or other demographic characteristic; and encourage debate among senior university staff members on how sponsorship mentoring is valuable for everyone’s career.

Find out more about the project.
