Student led Teaching Awards (SLTAs) were introduced as a new approach to raising the profile of teaching and identifying good practice. They were designed to help students consider and positively influence their learning and to develop stronger partnerships between students and staff.
This review of SLTAs draws on the 11 000 nominations and evaluation reports from across the eight pilot schemes thereby opening up a rich seem of data for new lines of research. The report provides valuable insight into student perceptions of excellence in learning and teaching practice presenting a comprehensive evaluation of the extensive and wide reaching impacts of SLTA schemes.
