Teaching and learning in Counselling and Psychotherapy

A report identifying the current needs of the academic community delivering teaching and training in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Counselling and Psychotherapy training have a long tradition of delivery within higher education which has recently been recognised through the development of a new subject benchmark (QAA 2013). This report was commissioned by the Higher Education Academy to identify the current needs of staff delivering teaching and training within these subjects and to highlight ways in which this learning and teaching community might develop and disseminate best practice.
