Virtual learning environments

The University of Hertfordshire recognises that using an anticipatory approach enables effective practice for all users. The university’s virtual learning environment was designed with accessibility features built in as standard, so students and staff can change the colour of the screen, size of font and layout, for example, to suit their requirements. The virtual learning environment was tested to ensure compatibility with screen readers.
