This publication comprises a collection of papers which together chart some of the key issues in managing employer engagement particularly at institutional level and potential ways of addressing them. The eight chapters provide an account of how some of those HEIs have moved onwards addressing the challenges along the way.
This is not intended to be a "how to" guide nor to be read chapter by chapter but as a collection to be dipped into as interests dictate to discover how fellow institutions have approached issues and what can be learned from experience The intended audience will be primarily senior and middle managers in higher (and further) education institutions in the UK and possibly beyond. Other stakeholders such as practitioners in HE national agencies government bodies employers etc will find the content useful.
