New member welcomed to Advance HE’s Board

04 Oct 2022 | Advance HE Professor Sarah Greer, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Winchester, is appointed to the Board

Advance HE is delighted to announce that Professor Sarah Greer, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Winchester has joined the Advance HE Board.

Professor Greer has been Vice-Chancellor of the University of Winchester since January this year. Previously, she was Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Worcester where she played a key role in developing the strategic vision for the University and was responsible for leading and ensuring excellence in teaching and research.

Advance HE Board Chair, Stephen Marston, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire, said, “I am delighted to welcome Sarah to the Advance HE Board. She brings enormous experience and her early achievements at Winchester, and previously in her career in the higher education sector, underline her qualities. Both the Board and Executive teams are looking forward to working with Sarah.”

Professor Greer said, “This is an exciting time to be joining the Board. Advance HE has a robust membership model where members value connections and collaboration across the sector. Its strategy to grow this model, particularly internationally, is a huge opportunity to build on its success to date, and I look forward to working with the Board and Executive to realise that vision.”
