University of Northampton to provide Advance HE’s Future Professional Directors live case study

19 Dec 2018 | Advance HE Advance HE is excited to announce that the University of Northampton’s move to its new campus is the focus of the 2019 Future Professional Directors (FPD) programme live case study, the centrepiece of Module One.

This module examines leadership in a culture of change and forms a key part of the nine month programme, which starts on 2 July 2019.

I am very proud the university has been invited to provide the case study for the Advance HE Future Professional Directors programme in 2019."

Professor Nick Petford, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton

“The university’s relocation to our new £330m Waterside Campus provides an ideal case study and the associated issues of change and engagement linked to this organisational move are a perfect backdrop for this programme and I hope participants will gain much from it.”

The FPD has been developed in collaboration with nine sector bodies including BUFDG, AUDE and AMOSSHE and as such is tailored to the needs of many professional staff from across Higher Education Institutions.

This is the third year that Northampton, a gold TEF-award winning institution, has been involved with the FPD programme. Professor Petford continued: “I have contributed to the delivery of the programme in recent years via my participation in the Strategic Dialogue session and seen at first-hand how delegates have benefited from their involvement in the programme.

“The University of Northampton’s mission is transforming lives + inspiring change.  We do this through developing all those we come into contact with, whether that be our students, our staff, our stakeholders or colleagues from across the higher education sector.”

The deadline to apply for Future Professional Directors is Wednesday 15 May 2019. Please do get in touch to discuss your application as soon as possible.
