Judith Francois is an innovative and creative academic who can bring new insights into teaching and constantly strives to develop strategies to build bridges that support students and build self-resilience. Judith has developed several tools that are helping to enhance students’ and trained staff’s understanding of their own resilience and has enabled them to use a bespoke reflective process to be able to reflect in the moment. Judith is constantly introducing new ideas. Just when she thinks there are no more, another one pops into her mind.

Judith enjoys working with diverse communities and has co-created a bespoke, award-winning programme that is enabling BAME nurses to progress in their careers. It is so exciting for her to see the difference this can make to individuals and organisations.

Judith has developed strong links with partner organisations and ensures that the principles of inclusive learning in the University are disseminated outside of the academic setting. Judith loves to engage the community in teaching and learning and has reached out to artists, storytellers and service users to help create a diverse community of learning through their particular expertise. Judith has a multitude of new ideas up her sleeve - watch out there will be more!
