Cindy is an experienced higher education professional with an eighteen-year track record working with universities in the UK and internationally. Since 2016, Cindy has designed and delivered leadership and management programmes across a wide array of leadership levels, has been a member of strategic and programme level steering groups, performed impact evaluations, undertaken strategic consultancy services and has maintained senior level relationships across all types of universities. She holds Advance HE’s HE TLQ 360 degree instrument accreditation. Prior to joining the Leadership Foundation (now Advance HE), Cindy held senior leadership roles in the areas of organisational development, equality, diversity and inclusivity and leadership, research and enterprise management while at the University of Cambridge and the University of Kent in the UK. At the University of Victoria in Canada, she created university-led leadership and management programmes for the public and not-for-profit sector and led design and delivery of research grants, contracts and consultancy. Prior to working in HE, Cindy worked for fifteen years in the not for profit and commercial sectors holding senior leadership and management roles including Chief Executive of a not-for-profit arts organisation and management / consultant roles at Accenture. She has held board positions within the Canadian arts / local government sector and has two first class university degrees (BFA and MBA).
