Chris is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Governance Services with over 30 years' experience working within the Higher Education sector, both in the UK and internationally. He works with policy makers, directors and boards in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the US and South America.

Chris has been involved in developing executive and non-executive directors in the boards of some of the largest listed companies, family-controlled businesses, State Owned Enterprises, National Investment Authorities, Sovereign Wealth Funds around the World.

He is an advisor to the World Bank and International Finance Corporation.

He is the author of the Corporate Governance Code for Mauritius that became operational in July 2017 and is currently advising the Maltese Regulator on the Code of Corporate Governance in Malta. In 2014, he was awarded the Bertin Medal by the International Academy of Quality in Sweden for his contribution to corporate governance globally.

Chris has a PhD, an MBA, an MSc and an MPhil.  He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, the Caux Round Table and the Royal Society of Arts. He is Visiting Professor in International Corporate Governance at the University of Lincoln.
