Dr Lucy Jones is Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing at Kingston University. Lucy has considerable experience of all aspects of HE and has been engaged with numerous cross institutional change projects including career development and support for early career staff both academic and professional. Lucy also has a role as the Gender Equality Champion for the University and leads on their Athena SWAN activity as well as playing a broader role in supporting EDI initiatives across the university and beyond included Aurora Lead and involvement with the Race Equality Chartermark.
Lucy is also the Director of STEM outreach activity and is engaged with a number of key initiatives to promote STEM disciplines and support young people into HE. These initiatives have EDI at their core and are all aimed at ensuring young people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to experience and understand the prospects provided by a career in STEM.
