Kay Sambell currently works at Edinburgh Napier University, where she is a Professor in the Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement. A 2002 National Teaching Fellow and a PFHEA, she is widely known, nationally and internationally, for her contributions to the assessment for learning movement in higher education, as well as for her research outputs on representations of childhood in dystopian children’s literature.
