Geoff has a 35-year track record in the social and human development of young people and communities through sport. He is Founder and Chair of the London based Youth Charter an international Charity and United Nations accredited Non-Governmental Organisation that tackles the societal inequalities in some of the most troubled communities in the world.

Geoff has held a number of public and private sector appointments developing and contributing to equality, diversity and inclusion at all levels of society. For the past 20 years, he has worked with Further and Higher Education institutions developing Board and Executive Leadership. Geoff has also lectured and delivered civic and community engagement projects at Universities nationally and internationally.

He is a Board Member of the London Legacy Development Corporation, Deputy Chair of the British Caribbean Association, Advisory Board Member at the Muhammad Ali Centre in Louisville, USA, Chair of the Independent Advisory Panel to the Professional Footballers’ Association and was Chair of the Board of Governors at the University of East London between 2017 – 2019. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Deputy Lieutenant for Greater Manchester.

Geoff is a former five times World Karate Champion with four honorary degrees to his name. He has been listed in the top 100 BAME leaders in the UK and the Evening Standard’s top 1000 influencers in London and was last year awarded an honorary professorship of the International Business School at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou, China.
