Amanda comes from a theatrical tradition, with parents and siblings all working in the theatre. She set up and ran the Young People's Drama Centre for 25 years while teaching at Middlesex University. She was Joint Artistic Director and writer for ‘The Village Idiots’ at the Mask Theatre Company and for comedy duo ‘Plested and Brown’. The companies toured the UK and abroad for many years, spreading joy and hilarity to a range of large and small audiences of all ages and backgrounds. She is co-writer for the pantomime at the Corn Exchange, Newbury. She is passionate about helping people develop their natural skills, to engage, persuade, influence and transform others.

Amanda brings a toolkit of tried and trusted techniques and rehearsal tips to her training sessions. Using her director’s eye and ear she works with participants to reveal what ‘works’ for them, so that they look and feel

authentic, confident, spontaneous and engaged in front of an audience.

She runs programmes on Personal Impact, Storytelling, Crucial Conversations, Creativity for Leaders and Action Learning Sets for national and global organisations such as the NHS, universities, charities and the third sector.

Amanda's recent client list includes St Mary's University, LBS, Pernod Ricard, Shell, L’Oreal, Hospice UK, the Stroke Association, ONS, the Welsh Government, Danske Bank, NS&I and HMRC.
