Christie is a facilitator, trainer, and coach. Her aim is to help leaders at all levels in organisations to develop their impact and influence to help them improve their performance. Her focus is on the development of practical skills and behaviours. She specialises in experiential learning and puts practice at the heart of all her work.

Christie has a specific interest in working on women’s leadership where she pays particular attention to their physical, vocal & emotional energy. By incorporating lessons learnt from the theatre, she offers a particular brand of training to professionals who may have excellent technical and analytical skills but need to up their game when creating impact both internally and externally. She regularly runs experiential workshops on presentation skills, personal impact, and behavioral management.

She has a long-standing relationship with the NHS, where she has worked on several leadership initiatives such as Top Leaders, a programme designed for Chief Executives, COOs, Finance Directors. She has facilitated at the Kings Fund, and she coaches senior people on personal impact within in the management structure of NHS England. She was also part of the facilitation team for Frontline, an award-winning nationwide project which explored the role nurses and midwives play working in a complex system.

For the Civil Service she has designed and facilitated on large group events for DwP (High Performing Teams, Managing People Performance), VOA (PAS Line Management Workshop), HM Treasury (Graduate Development Programme), MMO (Women’s Leadership Programme) and SCS Basecamp at Shrivenham.

She has also facilitated on long running programmes for IPO (Transformationd Home Office (Leading Cultural Change). Other programmes she regularly contributes to Optimising Your Emotional Intelligence, High Impact Communications and Negotiation Skills sometimes for one particular department or on open courses.

In her coaching work she likes to create ongoing relationships. She works around the client’s need in terms how and when they like to work. She has run 1:1 personal impact coaching sessions with SCS clients from CPS, DfE, DfT & MOJ

She also has considerable experience in the private sector working with clients such as PwC, Allen & Overy, White & Case, SJ Berwin (Kingswood Malleson), Ashurst, Lazards, Ince & Co, Withers, Coutts Bank, Weightmans, Simmons & Simmons, DLA Piper, Penningtons Manches, Alinea Consulting, Capco, Merck Pharma, Zolfo Cooper.
