With a background in quality assurance and enhancement, and learning and teaching, Dallas’s substantive experience is in managing pedagogically focused, large-scale, complex projects, supporting colleagues and students.
Dallas is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy; has been an accreditor for the UK Professional Standards Framework (PSF) since 2013 and is also a reviewer for Advance HE’s Collaborative Awards for Teaching Excellence.
Previous projects managed include:
• A “Value of Teaching” project and an interactive online course (Attributes and Aspirations) supporting post-graduate medical students at Imperial College, London to achieve their career ambitions
• A cross-university curriculum-development project at Queen Mary, University of London
• As the Academic Practice and Learning Enhancement Team’s Operational Lead at the University of East London (UEL), a range of cross-institutional initiatives were managed including: UEL’s Accredited PSF Fellowship Scheme; the internal Teaching Fellowship Scheme and, strategy and policy development and implementation.
Dallas’s first degree was in Early Childhood Development and with a particular interest in effective and creative leadership, studied Innovation and Creative Leadership at Masters level at City, University of London.
