Prior to coming to LSE, Mark started his career at Royal Holloway where he created a new department in the 1990s before moving to the University of Leicester as a Professor of Spanish and Head of the School of Modern Languages. More recently he was Associate Provost at Regent’s University London, leading on student experience and educational development.
