In the years since, she has worked extensively advancing disabled interests both within and outside the university, serving subsequent terms as Disabled Students’ and Education Officers in the Students’ Union and working with charities Dogs for Good and the National Trust. She’s accompanied around campus by her best friend and assistance dog, Rumba.
